JUMPING TO NEW HEIGHTS IN CORK 2 Jul 2009 American Jamie Nieto who jumped 2.30m. last July to establish a new Meeting record in Cork looks set to go even higher next Saturday afternoon as he is joined by by three other world ranked high jumpers who have also jumped well in excess of 2.30m. Frenchman Mikael Hanany cleared 2.32m in 2008 to win the U.S. Collegiate title. Adam Shunk (USA) and Grzegorz Sposob (Poland) have also jumped this height amd Dutchman Martijn Nuijens recently upped his personal best to 2.29m |
