BRENDAN CHRISTIAN WINS AMERICAN TROPHY
Winner of the American Trophy,  Brendan Christian (Antiqua & Barbuda), receives his award from Dick Hodgins, Chairman Cork City Sports following his outstanding 100m victory in 10.12 sec. at the 58th. Cork City Sports which is the fastest 100m time ever recorded in Ireland.
 
The prestigious trophy is awarded each year to the athlete with the most outstanding performance at the Sports as judged by a panel of sports journalists from the national press.
