European silver medalist, Mark English is confirmed to compete in the 800m at Cork City Sports. English claimed his second European 800m medal in March when he finished in second place at the European Indoor Athletics Championships at the O2 Arena in Prague.
English is looking forward to the opportunity to compete against a star studded international field on home soil. Some confirmed challengers to English are Joshua Ralph (AUS), Tomas Timoranski (SVK), Andreas Bude (DEN) & Michael Rutt (USA)

The 64th Cork City Sports will be held at CIT Stadium on Tuesday 7th July, 2015.
